We've had a quite a bit of rain this week in Waco. Many have suggested that this will help to "get us ready" for Scotland. I decided to compare.
Friday's expected temperature in St. Andrews is 50 degrees F, rainy with 22 mph winds. Waco is predicted to be 68 degrees. partially cloudy with 7 mph winds.
For those that are wondering, the St. Andrews' sunrise - 7:31 a.m. and sunset - 4:16 p.m.
Compare this to Waco: sunrise - 6:49 a.m.; sunset - 5:34 p.m.
There isn't as much difference in the times as I thought there would be, though 45 minutes on one end of the day and over an hour on the other will add up. It's only early November. I wonder what it will be like in another month! I'm sure I'll be checking...
