Each year, Baylor Uninersity has Diadeloso, The Day of the Bear. It is a day close to the end of spring semester that is a fun family day with games and good food. Since we missed it on campus this year, we decided to take last Friday and have our own Diadeloso in St Andrews.
One of the boys' favorite places in St Andrews is West Sands.
They love the large beach area and it has also been really interesting to learn about the tides.
In the time that we were here on Friday, the tide came in surprisingly quickly and it was fun to see how the beach changed in such a short time.
The boys love digging holes in the sand and lying down in them to measure how big the hole is.
Building a trench to fill the moat as the tide comes in.
Can't have Diadeloso without ice cream!
Snuck in haircuts! No one seemed to mind!
