We had a wonderful weather day on Thursday, after two days of cold wind and hail, so we decided it was hiking day. We have wanted to hike the Crail to Anstruther stretch of the Fife Coastal Path (about 3 miles) and decided that today was the day!

We saw this sign after we had already walked through Crail.
It is always a bit of a guess where the "start and end points" are when we get the trail distances.
This is a natural wall of rocks along the shore.
The rocks are absolutely huge!
That is The Isle of May in the background.
We had some surprises along the way. These surprises included seeing these caves, The Caves of Caiplie. Reportedly used for Christian worship as early as the 9th century.
Here's Jonathan with the brown sheep, the "owners" of this section of the FCP (Fife Coastal Path).
The boys have seen a LOT of white sheep and did not know that these were sheep! This is learning.
Stepping stones to keep us mostly out of the mud and water.
