We finally made it!
We have had the goal of hiking to the top of Arthur's Seat in Edinburgh since we arrived in Scotland.
The highest point is hidden behind this peak.
We didn't even realize it existed until we rounded the corner of first mountain.
Now you can see the highest peak.
St. Anthony's Chapel
The gorse bushes were amazing!
Surprising to us, they fill the air with the smell of coconut.
Overlooking Edinburgh
Most pictures make it look like we are the only ones up there.
People like to congregate at this point.
This was our picnic site for lunch. Good company and the view isn't bad, either!
SO proud of these boys.
They have completed some very challenging hikes and have enjoyed some incredible views!
This rocky path was challenging even to go down.
SO glad we went up by the other path!

Once we completed our hike, we knew that we wanted to revisit Scotland's National Gallery.
We were able to view some world class art and the boys did a great job recognizing artists that we have studied.
A great combination of activity for the day.
