Falkland is in the western part of the Kingdom of Fife.
Pastor Andrew suggested a number of weeks ago that we go here together, so this week worked for all of us.

Falkland has been an important location for Scottish nobility since the 1100s. It was a favorite retreat and hunting lodge for the Sturart Kings and queens.
It is said that Mary, Queen of Scots spent some of her happiest days here.
She enjoyed hunting and tennis.
It is claimed that the world's oldest tennis court is here at Falkland Palace Gardens.
This palace was built by the Stewart kings in the 16th century.
