On Saturday evening, after our eight hour train ride, we checked into the hotel and decided to look around to stretch our legs. We went to Kensington Gardens which is an amazing green space in a city where space is at a premium. After walking quite a ways, we ended up at Brompton Oratory which was having their evening mass which included their boys' choir. It is an incredibly ornate church and we were happy to see the church thriving.

Sunday was our first full day in London and, knowing that we had a big day planned, we were pleased to begin with a full English breakfast. On Sunday and Monday, we had organized activities with the Baylor students. Sunday was the Tower of London. We went to the tower two years ago on a visit to London but we loved introducing the students to it and going on a tour led by one of the Yeoman Warders or "Beefeaters".
For lunch we met up with Nick and Autumn Green and their three beautiful daughters. Autumn and Tommy are cousins and the boys love having relatives their age in London. We went to the Natural History Museum together and saw their great dinosaurs display. Afterwards we went to a creperie for tea and treats!
To complete our day, we went to Piccadilly Circus. The boys were excited to visit the Waterstones Bookstore, with its five floors. Then we went to a nice little burger place for dinner, Byron's Proper Burgers.
