Burns Night

      Our FIRST Sunday night meal with the students is one of the BIGGEST nights of the year for Scotland!  We have been introducing our boys to Burns' poetry and will take this opportunity to have a Burns poetry reading with the students.  This should set quite a tone for the semester!

IT’S one of the biggest nights of the year in Scotland.

Burns Night has been celebrated in Scotland for over 200 years.

Also known as Burns suppers or Rabbie Burns day, the night is in celebration of Scotland’s national Bard, Robert Burns, and is held on 25 January - the poet’s birthday.
