Today was a nice-weather day to explore St. Andrews. Good thing since we walked 6.2 miles! Our day started with teaching our Texas boys how to walk on ice and not fall! They quickly became experts at looking for "traction" spots to walk and I'm happy to report that we had no falls on the morning ice. We tracked down the nearest grocery store and discovered numerous interesting items available for purchase.

First up-close look at the ruins of St Andrews Castle
St Andrews Cathedral is a place we will have to return to for exploration. We were running out of daylight by the time we got here (4 p.m.!)
